PRESS RELEASE

 Pocomoke City, MD – Pocomoke Little League, in conjunction with Maryland District 8 and the City of Pocomoke is pleased to announce that Pocomoke Little League has been selected as the host of the 2018 Maryland State -Softball Tournament for the Majors Division. From July 7 – 11, players ages 11-12 will be competing for a spot in the Eastern Regional Mid-Atlantic Tournament held in Bristol, Connecticut in late July.  Games will be held at the Newtown Park Recreational Sports Complex located on Groton Road in Pocomoke City. A game schedule and bracket will be released at a later date. Many vendors as well as a full service concession stand will be available onsite for spectators and guest. Additionally, local hotel, food, shopping and camping accommodations will be available. A full list of vendors and accommodations will be released in the near future.
